Fear Bites the Dust [Video]

fearFear is a tricky subject for me because there are so many other words that I use to disguise fear.

I sometimes substitute the word procrastination for fear or tell myself things like “I’m waiting for the ‘right’ time, place or circumstance” before I make my move.

Not true.

Most of the time, when I make excuses for not doing something, It’s really that I’m fearful of the outcome. That’s the kind of fear that ultimately immobilizes me to the point of getting in my own way and giving up.

In my  last post,  I’m Back from My Fear Trip,   I shared with you one of my fears.  For the next few weeks, ‘ll be sharing more on the subject of fear and transparency.

In this short video,  I show you how another fear bites the dust.  Please take a moment to view Fear Bites the Dust  and share your thoughts and/or fears in the comment section.

Thanks for your support!

    Hi Gladys
You really hit on my core problem this time. Basically I am terrified of mostly everything/everyone that has been
in my life and having to repress it so I can function. I have tried anything and everything as far back as I can remember but to no avail and honestly I can’t see any light at the end of the tunnel. It is just a fact of life.

  2. Hi Gladys,

Thanks for stepping out and facing your fear. I have a fear of making videos too, and have made some similar excuses to the ones you mentioned. Your courage to walk through this fear has encouraged me.
